Position Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for organizing project based activities and documentation for our organization. This position will be tasked with developing and supporting programs that further the organizations strategic direction. You will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs, writing program funding proposals, and standard operating procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Implement engineering/operating plans assigned and develop KPI to measure the success of the implementation while communicating with cross-functional teams the implementation gaps for further improvements.
  • Determine key requirements needed from cross functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage budgets for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
  • Function as a lead in coordinating with business sponsors, IT leadership, internal business units, vendors and project teams to organize, plan, and execute large scale strategic programs.
  • Develop assessment tools to determine program opportunities, trends, and risks.
  • Write program funding proposals and manage project budgets
  • Manage cross-functional teams including internal stakeholders, senior management and external vendors with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
  • Ensure project goals are met on-time in areas including quality, service, and financial performance.
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Meet with stakeholders to ensure effective and transparent communication on project issues and decisions on service.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Manage centralized document management and compliance software program.
  • Review archived project information to ensure completed projects continue to meet original objectives.
  • Engaged in the research and knowledge sharing of emerging technologies that would benefit the company.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure document compliance.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree in Business or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in program management.
  • Proven program champion with stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and drive performance through cross-functional teams with limited resources.
  • Experience with a document and process management tool such as SharePoint, Microsoft Team, or other like type software.
  • Experience with project management tool such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or other like type software.
  • Skilled to Expert level user in Microsoft Office applications.
