Position Summary

As a Customer Success Executive (CSE), you will be part of the team at GLS that focuses on providing our new customers an exceptional on-boarding experience and increasing retention. You will be responsible for proactively reaching out to new customers to educate them on our services and how to navigate and use the GLS customer portal and website for the best possible customer experience. The CSE is the first step in the customer's journey with our company, responding to prospects who express interest in our products and services via phone, chat and email.

When speaking with prospects or new customers, you may identify opportunity to offer additional services, or refer to outside sales.

Another important part of the CSE role is account management, engaging customers in dialog while gathering feedback on their overall experience with our company.

Candidates must have above average communication skills, be tech savvy and comfortable using a variety of software applications.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Effectively increase revenue with a focus on increasing the percentage of new customers using our services.
  • Engage with prospects and customers via telephone, chat and email.
  • Train and inform new and existing customers on the use of GLS's web-based Customer Portal.
  • Assist customers by giving them a voice in our company, communicating their feedback effectively.
  • Emphasize features and benefits of our services.
  • Be flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment.
  • Utilize CRM system on a consistent daily basis.
  • Proficient use of software including, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook to communicate on a daily basis.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Minimum of 2 years in business-to-business, inside sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Excellent telephone personality.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
